Supporting the Environment
Rotary is concerned with protecting the environment, which is our common resource.
I Have a Garden Project
Project Aim: The “I Have a Garden” project, which can be implemented to ensure direct access to healthy and clean food, should be a must-have in every Rotary club. Within the scope of the project, the first seeds should be planted, and Rotarians should experience this excitement. Especially, let your children plant something; water it and eat it. It will be a very good experience for them.
You can obtain the results of the meetings with the municipality through your own garden club...

Village Wastewater Treatment System Project
Project Aim: Wastewater Treatment Systems are systems where wastewater generated from domestic and industrial use is treated using classic activated sludge / long aeration activated sludge / advanced biological treatment / chemical treatment, etc., processes that meet design limits or reach levels suitable for use as potable water. Circular Water Management “Wastewater is not waste, it is a valuable resource. Process water used at every point of production must be planned correctly from its source.” This project aims to establish a Wastewater Treatment System in a pilot area and publicize this success in local or national media and social media.

Outdoor Ashtray Project
Project Objective: The goal is to place or expand waste collection bins, especially in areas frequently visited and updated during the summer months. Furthermore, cigarette butts are a significant environmental problem. The aim is to distribute or expand waste collection bins where cigarette butts are collected in a way that ensures the flame remains constant and does not disperse. The bins should have a sign that reads "Throw Cigarette Butts in the Trash Can."

Waste Collection and Composting Project
Project Objective: Many housing projects worldwide implement on-site composting of food waste, and the resulting compost is used in green spaces. This project aims to implement composting in a pilot area and publicize this success in local or national media and social media.

Tree Planting Project
Project Objective: To encourage the community to plant trees and create a lasting legacy of tree and environmental protection. The life we live begins with planting a sapling.

Treatment of Sick and Injured Street Animals Project
Project Aim: A cat, which generally lives 12-18 years, has a lifespan of only 2-3 years if it is a street cat. The reasons for the death of these cats include being hit by cars, being subjected to violence by humans, constant exposure to harsh conditions, hunger, thirst, and fighting with other cats in different cities; these cats have disadvantages compared to house cats. The project aims to extend the lifespan of sick and injured street animals by transporting them.
